Concrete Protector

WHY USE CONCRETE PROTECTOR?

Protects your valuable concrete/cement infrastructure and structures from harsh weather, ultra-violet (UV) damage and surface contamination (including graffiti and carbonation).

CONCRETE PROTECTOR is easy to apply to both new and old surfaces, often only a single coating is required. The high solid content (95%), poly-siloxane epoxy resin provides a powerful bond with the substrate without the use of a primer.

CONCRETE PROTECTOR ADVANTAGES
Long term asset protection.
Environmentally sustainable design (ESD).
Concrete protection (anti-carbonation) and permanent anti-graffiti in one coating.
High blocking efficiency – removes inconsistencies in concrete.

CONCRETE PROTECTOR BENEFITS
Exceptional bond strength with substrates. Long-term protection against concrete carbonation and corrosion. Coating creates a Barrier to calcium chloride, water, & carbon dioxide. UV PROTECTION. chemical and solvent resistant. Easy application on new and old surfaces.

ANTI-GRAFITTI
Low maintenance costs.

CONCRETE PROTECTOR
CASE STUDIES AND ARCHITECT SPECIFIED PROJECTS

New road safety barriers were high pressure washed and coated with concrete protector in two separate locations in Melbourne, Australia’s freeway system (140,000 cars/day). Despite a partially wet surface there were no adhesion problems with the coating material (>3 N/mm2). Coating still fully cures.

Australian application was carried out on both dry concrete and damp concrete.

Independent pull off adhesion tests performed (Average result >3.8 N/mm2 cohesive failure of the concrete).

Application done as a two-coat process to a 200-micron DFT.

Stripped off a 5-year-old non-performing coating (peeling and flaking) and applied Concrete Protector.
